Sky gardens

New Eidyn comprises, 9,000 sq ft of carefully designed landscaping with varied planting. This creates biodiversity supporting the resilience of insects, wildlife and the climate.

Energy

All hot and cold water to the apartments at New Eidyn is supplied through the St James Quarter Energy Centre. This provides a low carbon, cost-effective heating and cooling solution.

Transport

New Eidyn includes 300 easily accessible bicycle storage spaces to encourage the Edinburgh cycle to work scheme.

The secure residents’ parking has 83 electric vehicle charging points.

New Eidyn is located within the Edinburgh City Council Low Emission Zone. This supports the councils goal for a greener city by 2030.

This central location provides excellent access to public transport links encouraging sustainable travel.
